Resumen del contenido
One of the best things about Installing Chrome on a PCis that it doesn’t matter which operating system you use; the procedure is pretty much the same for everyone. While it is true that the images that accompany this article are based on a Windows 10 PC,the steps you should follow on a Linux or MacOScomputer; they’re basically the same. In addition to that they can also be carried out on a Laptop without any problem.
The only thing you need to do to enjoy the fastest web browser for PC,the Google Chrome; is to follow the 7 simple steps below.
Go to the official Google Chrome website
To perform the first step, you need to open the web browser that is factory installed on your computer; or any other one you’ve already installed on your own. For example, in the following image you can see that we use Microsoft Edge; since this is the default browser of the Windows 10operating system.
In any case, use the browser search bar to type ” Official GoogleChrome“. In our case, either of the first two options would serve equally. However, as we noted in the image; we enter the second result but this is just a matter of preferences.
Click on the blue button “Download Chrome”
You’ll know if you chose the result of the previous search correctly, if the webpage you’re sent to looks exactly like the one we showed you in the next image. On this website you will find a button with the name“Download Chrome”. Click on it to continue the process.
Accept the Google Chrome Terms of Service
After the above, and automatically; The official Chrome page will recognize the operating system you have and how many bits it works with. It will inform you of this in a pop-up window like the one shown in the following image, so it doesn’t matter what operating system you have; the procedure will be the same.
This same pop-up window lists the Google Chrome Terms of Service, which you can print. A check box appears below that you can turn off or keep checked for Chrome to collect usage and error statistics in the background. Regardless of what you decide, you need to click on the“OK and install”button and then on “Save”.
Open the folder where the installer was downloaded
When the download is complete, the web will reload to display the message “Thank you for downloading Chrome“. But, actually; what you just downloaded is the installer. That is, the program that will take care of downloading the browser itself. So you should go to the folder where your downloads are saved and search for this installer.
Run the installer
The downloaded installer is named ChromeSetup, and will work only for your operating system and its variants; as well as the one we download is for Windows 10/8.1/8/7 32-bit. So it won’t do any good if you keep it on a pendrive to try to install it on a computer with another operating system.
Simply open the file or, if possible; execute him asan administrator. Then accept permission for Chrome to make changes to your device.
Wait for Chrome to finish downloading and installing on your PC
Automatically after doing the above, a small download window will open. It shows a gray bar that fills with blue as the browser download progresses.
When the gray bar is completely filled with blue, you’ll get the message “The download is complete.“. After a couple of seconds the message will change to “Installing“, and again you’ll have to wait for a gray bar to fully load. After this you will have Google Chrome installed on your PC or Laptop.
Check how Google Chrome works
After the chrome download and installation is complete on your computer,it is highly recommended that you open it immediately; after all if you downloaded it is to use it or at least try it.
In the case of those who install it for the first time, when you open it you will see the option of “Set as default browser“; which we recommend accepting and configuring. In this way, any action that leads to the opening of a web page, will be opened by Google Chrome instead of some other browser previously installed.
